Grading card terms
Do not submit counterfeit, cleaned or otherwise altered cards that cannot be graded. We only make a quick, general check on receipt because we handle many cards, so we may miss alterations or counterfeits. The grading company makes the final determination. If a card is rejected or returned without a grade for this reason, the agreed grading fee is still charged and is not refunded.
If you fill in the card list yourself, it is your responsibility to enter the correct version of each card, such as the right set, number and variant. If a card is entered incorrectly, you forfeit your right to the grading fee if the card therefore does not get graded.
Grading economics, explained
How is break-even calculated?+
Raw-sale net equals your raw value minus your selling fee. Each graded-sale net subtracts the same fee percentage and its share of submission costs. Break-even equals raw-sale net plus allocated costs, divided by one minus the selling fee rate. At 100% fees there is no finite break-even.
Are these actual prices or predicted grades?+
No. The example values and grade labels are hypothetical and editable. No probabilities are supplied. For your own assumptions, compare recent completed sales for the exact printing, language, grader and grade; asking prices are not completed sales. CGC Gem Mint 10 and Pristine 10 are distinct outcomes.
Which costs are included?+
The selected grading and handling quote, selected review and insurance, one return parcel allocated equally across the submission, and your entered inbound shipping and other extras. Enter supplies, card-list assistance or other selling charges under other extras when relevant. Unknown European destination shipping remains excluded and visibly incomplete, not free.
How do I choose a service and submit?+
Check the current service availability, minimum quantity, card type, declared-value limit and time estimate. Compare lower, middle and higher outcomes, not only the best grade. Transfer your service choices to the public form, check each card and the final quote, then pay and follow the shipping instructions. Hypothetical outcomes and fee assumptions are not sent to checkout.
Selling-fee assumptions apply equally to both paths. Other extras and inbound postage are your estimates, not checkout selections. Values, allocation and break-even are illustrative; final service eligibility and amounts are checked in the submission form.
